This year our Barnet prep school Pre-Reception have supported two charities and have helped to raise nearly £600 for children in deprived areas in this country and those in third world countries.
First we kept our pyjamas on to come to school, making sure that we brought our teddies too and managed to raise £293 for Children in Need. The teachers even managed to brave the cold morning standing at the gate in their pyjamas, collecting money as the children came to school.
Next with Reception joining us we all came to school wearing as much red as possible to raise money for Red Nose Day (Mrs Badger even wore her red wellies!). We then went in to the hall to skip, jump, dance, wiggle and wobble as much as we could which helped us to raise £270.
Well done to all the children and teachers who took part in our charity days. We are delighted that we could send off so much to help children who are less fortunate in different countries.
