On Wednesday 27th April, the Lyonsdown School Choir took part in the North London Music Festival. The choir performed two contrasting songs, “Titanium” and “Mary Mack/Fureem be me been” the latter being a traditional Gaelic melody in three parts. The choir sang beautifully, as did the other six schools that took part! In his adjudication, the Judge praised our professionalism and commitment as a choir. He then went on to award us First prize in the Primary Schools’ category. We were absolutely thrilled to receive this award and look forward to participating again next year. Congratulations to all the girls who took part!
