We all had a terrific day today at our Sports Day at Mill Hill School for Year 2 – Year 6. Thankfully the weather was fantastic, and the grounds looked amazing in the bright sunshine.
The girls did themselves and their Houses proud by doing their best in the many sporting events and activities organised by Mr Gale and supported by some members of staff.
The girls displayed their Lyonsdown Learning Habits of Independence and Perseverance throughout the day. Through collaborating in House Teams, Mr Gale was delighted to present the cup to the winning team Earhart.
Well done to all the girls who took part with such energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. I’m sure many records set last year were broken, and new ones were achieved. Seeing so many parents, grandparents, and other family members cheering from the edges was lovely to observe.
To all our Lyonsdown athletes, please don’t forget to keep up your sporting endeavours over the long summer break, even if it’s just getting out on your bike or kicking a ball around in the local park.
