At Lyonsdown we value the creativity, expression and freedom that Drama provides. Drama is taught as an explicit lesson from Year 3 onwards. Girls explore a variety of scripts, learn new skills and participate in a physical theatre unit.

Drama is cross-curricular and deepens and enriches the learning in other subjects, as well as helping the girls to grow in confidence.
We celebrate our love of drama with yearly workshops and visits to the theatre.

The skills and techniques learnt culminate in our annual summer musical, performed in the Mill Hill Theatre, and the girls revel in this experience.
