At Lyonsdown, all girls receive weekly Music lessons from Pre-Reception to Year 6 from a specialist Music teacher. All girls also receive a weekly singing session either in their year group or we come together to sing and prepare for various events we run throughout the year.

Music also plays a vital role in children's wellbeing here at Lyonsdown. We believe the power of singing collectively is a powerful tool to create happier and healthier children in school. We want to foster a love for Music and the Arts. Through singing, performing, listening, and composing, we cultivate creative and innovative learners who are confident in their musical skills.

Music comes alive here at Lyonsdown through our wide-ranging events, such as the Nativity, Concerts, and the Summer production at Mill Hill School. We pride ourselves on being able to help all the girls shine, be brave and to be the best they can be.
